Penguin Launching Xbox Eagle Eye Version 3.0
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRVl5J0v9wY&t=22s]Advanced Calibration Function Improves Smoothness and Synchronization for First-Person Shooters
Fremont, CA – Following the tremendous success of the Eagle-Eye Converter for the Sony Playstation 3, Penguin United has announced that it will launch the Eagle-Eye Version 3.0 for Xbox 360 at the end of November in time for the holidays. The Eagle-Eye converts any standard USB HID keyboard and mouse into a turbo charged video game controller, the preferred method for fans of first-person shooters.
Review samples are available to the media upon request.
The Eagle-Eye Version 3.0 provides a customized key mapping feature for all Xbox 360 controller buttons that seamlessly transfers the command data to a keyboard and mouse. Now first-person shooter games like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Medal of Honor can be played with greater dexterity, speed and accuracy than with a standard controller.
The Eagle-Eye Version 3.0 has been updated with a more refined Advance Calibration System that provides customized mouse speed, smoothness and synchronization. The new advanced calibration function consists of 5 components: 5 point Deadzone Neutralization (the additional points vastly improve the Eagle Eye’s performance in-game); 2 Tier Calibration Switch to switch between two different sets of advanced calibration settings on one keymap on the fly; Sensitivity Adjustment Assist to help gamers determine the best X/Y sensitivity relationship, Angle Correction to improve horizontal and vertical straightness; and an Optional Turn Speed Limit to prevent sudden speed acceleration usually found in circular movement. The entire calibration process is performed in-game with the Eagle Eye’s Advanced Calibration System which helps gamers breeze through the calibration process. Finally, the Synchronization process allows users to download and backup customized calibration settings and key map settings, which can saved onto your computer and shared with friends or the Eagle Eye community.
“The original Eagle-Eye was such a great success with PS3 fans that we wanted to create a new version for the Xbox community,” stated Penguin President, Richard Huang. “Version 3.0 for Xbox 360 provides the same outstanding ability to bypass the controller by transferring the button features directly to the computer keyboard and mouse, but now the speed, smoothness and accuracy is even more impressive.”
Richard continued: “We intend to keep the hardware upgrades cost-effective to the consumer. The original Eagle Eye for PS3 was upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0 and now to the new 3.0 firmware all via the same hardware. We intend to continue to support all iterations of the Eagle Eye to provide gamers with the maximum return on their investment so they can avoid buying an entirely new version each year. They can simply upgrade their current Eagle Eye and enjoy all the benefits of the new features as they are developed.”
